AOP HISTORY

Arrows of Purpose is a for-profit licensed provider servicing children and adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This has been a dream that was placed on my heart (Tamika Irby, owner and founder) at the age of 21 but have been in the process of turning this dream into a reality since 2015. I have a background of working with adults and children for a little over 15 years but have always had a desire to work with children specifically, as it is what pulls on my heart strings. I saw a need and chose the name Arrows of Purpose because I believe that ALL children are a blessing, and it is our duty to cherish and make sure they grow up with the tools necessary to soar in life. It is my hope that every staff and sponsor that comes to work alongside me at Arrows of Purpose have the same passion and soft heart for our "Arrows"  who are destined to be world changers.  We offer services/ programs to encourage every child/adolescent that they have a PURPOSE, PLAN, AND FUTURE.

Why become a Residential Sponsor

THE WHY

It is always important to give back to our communities as well as give those who the world has written off a better life. With that, as a sponsor you will help an individual become a value member of their society as well as give them the opportunity of living in the community as well as provide an array of life skills that an institution-like setting would never provide.
